Lee Mackenzie is a watercolour artist living in Powell River, BC, Canada. She is largely self-taught, finding inspiration and techniques from observation and experimentation.

Images include landscapes, botanicals, birds, abstracts and imaginative, sometimes mysterious settings with what is often described as an Oriental touch. Her work is included in collections in Europe, Australia, South Africa, the United States and Canada.

"I love using strong, eye-catching colors, sweeping washes and unusual and experimental techniques. When I paint, I try to tell a little bit of a story. My goal is to give you a painting that will shine light into your room."
